The Legacy Club was organized in the fall of 2004, in Jacksonville, AL by a group of professional women interested in empowering young ladies throughout Calhoun County. They focused on leadership, academic excellence, and exemplary character. Twenty-five junior and high school students were selected to become charter members of the Legacy Club.
The name of the club was chosen to represent the standards of the organization.

"The LEGACY Club was designed to help mold and develop middle and high school girls"
In 2012, the late Mr. Sebastian D. Floyd created "The Men of LEGACY". Being a coach and leader in the community, he saw a need for young men to have daily mentorship and guidance. Six years later, our organization continues to groom boys and prepare them to be the leaders of tomorrow.
