January 20, 2020 - Anniston Alumni Ciara Smith is the guest speaker at the Annual Martin Luther King Breakfast at the Anniston City Meeting Center. Ciara is a senior at Spelman College (May 2020) and was a 2017 Debutante.

Goddess Skin + Body is a handcrafted line of plant-based skin and body care products.
When we think of living a healthy lifestyle, a lot of the times, we think of the things we’re eating and putting into our bodies, but a large percentage of what you put on your skin gets absorbed into your bloodstream. So we not only need to think about what we’re eating, but also what we’re using on our skin. I really want to encourage women to really take a look at the products they are using, read the backs of the labels, and look up the ingredients. A lot of ingredients used by mainstream skincare companies are toxic and known to cause cancer and other illnesses. I want to encourage people to make the switch to clean beauty. Goddess Skin + Body only includes ingredients that are safe, vegan, and non-toxic.
